If you didn't already know, Fry's Electronics is a collection of retail super-stores carrying mostly electronics &
computer component products in their large 50,000 to 180,000 sq. foot buildings. Popularized by their good sale prices,
but ridiculed for their far from perfect customer service, Fry's Electronics is the place techies go for their
computer needs (as long as they know exactly what they need, and how it works).
More interesting than that to many is the buildings of Fry's Electronics. Just about every location
has its own uniquely themed exterior as well as interior. From Campbell's Egyptian Pyramid to Woodland Hills'
Alice in Wonderland, each is interesting to see and explore, assuming you live close enough to visit it.
Which brings us to the purpose of this site. The "Fry's electronics Photo Project" is simply a collection of photographs
of the Fry's Electronics stores, to showcase the creative themes for those not able to visit them in person. To date, we've
received photographs from all the Fry's Electronics stores (minus just a couple) from visitors just like yourself. If you happen
to live by or be visiting a Fry's Electronics store I hope you'll feel inclined to snap a photo or two and send them into
the site for all to enjoy.
Note: Fry's Electronics seems to have a strict "No photography" policy inside their buildings, so don't blame
me if your camera gets confiscated trying to take a quick snap, but, if you happen to already have a photo or two
of the inside decorations, well then, feel free to submit them to the site. ;)
